The 911th MAG operated the C-124C until redesignated 758th TAS/911th TAG in February 1972, with the C-123K assigned. The unit was attached to the 302nd TAW until reassigned to 439th MAW in 1980, when it re-equipped with the C-130A. The unit upgraded to the C-130H in 1987. The 911th was upgraded to Wing standard in October 1994.
